CNX has provided expert reports and testimony for plaintiffs and defendants for cases involving construction defect, property loss, slips, trips, falls, contractor claims, construction schedule delays, construction safety, OSHA, mechanical and structural failures, and other construction and property-related litigation. The same unbiased and scientific methods and reasoning are used to determine cause and liability for cases that are in the process of litigation.
claims consulting
CNX will act as a consultant to owners, contractors, design firms, and sureties to provide expert opinions and determinations of responsibility for construction and property-related claims. Claims investigated include change order analysis, cost and billing analysis, construction defect, and schedule delays. With a background in CPM scheduling, construction schedules are reviewed with particular attention to delays affecting the critical path to accurately determine cause(s) of delays and associated costs.
construction management
CNX has provided program and construction project management services to owners and contractors on public and private sector projects ranging in value from under $1 million to over $100 million. CNX will provide preconstruction services including design review and cost estimates, bidding and procurement services including pricing review and contractor selection, project management services including schedule review, schedule management, submittal review, quality control/assurance, and project reports, and close-out management including change order negotiation, punch list management, and commissioning. CNX represents owners and contractors with experience in both design and construction and uses this experience to maintain project quality, budgets, schedules, and safety.
