JEFFREY J. GILBEAUX, P.E.

MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING EXPERT

Mr. Gilbeaux is a 1986 graduate of Drexel University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has completed Masters level courses at Penn State Great Valley campus in Engineering Science. His professional experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection design, analysis and assessment spans 32 years.

Mr. Gilbeaux’s expertise includes HVAC system design and failure analyses along with operational assessment, chiller and boiler plant faults, demand peak shaving systems, engine powered generator sets, power distribution within a building, system remediation, and HVAC systems building control and automation design, implementation and integration. Through his experience, he has gained and extensive knowledge of the NFPA and ICC Series Code Sets. Mr. Gilbeaux also has experience in HVAC DDC (Direct Digital Control) analysis and third party integration, as well as Sprinkler System design, analysis and assessment in accordance with NFPA-13 and IFC (ICC Series Fire Code), hazard classifications and zone density requirements.

Mr. Gilbeaux has lectured on Automatic Temperature Controls systems and system integration. He also has experience in the study and operational remediation of excessive building humidity issues and associated mold propagation. Mr. Gilbeaux has strong experience in ATC (Automatic Temperature Control) system requirements, commissioning, design, equipment selection, MEP construction management, and building HVAC systems review and remediation.

Design and installation of HVAC, electrical and building automation systems. System design included central plant, water side free cooling, ice storage, automation, and submetering. Responsibilities included CAD, programming, equipment selection, Construction management of field work of in house and subcontractor labor and start up. Equipment selection including
boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, rooftop equipment, built up air handlers, VAV boxes and split system air handlers. Clients included hospitals, pharmaceuticals, data centers, shopping centers, schools and industrial facilities. Delaware valley York is now known as Burns Mechanical Inc.
